With lots of last minute stresses and strains on the run up to their wedding, Aimee and Ross were understandably nervous when I met up with them for their wedding rehearsal and being told I could only shoot from the back of the church didn’t help matters but when their wedding day dawned, regardless of the bad weather predicted there was sunshine and smiles a plenty!
Their big day was themed with all great british traditions and we were treated to a big red London bus, glorious flowers and bunting decorating their venue and of course a stunning hackney carriage which carried Aimee and her Dad to the church (it must be said that I warned Aimee how terrified I was of horses but with the gentle encouragement from the carriage drivers I actually patted one of the horses on the nose – how exciting!)
Aime and Ross’ day ran without a hitch, we even managed to get all the group shots done in the sunshine and when the rain did come we got some great shots under a big tree – perfect!
A massive thanks from me to all at the Balmer Lawn for their great hospitality and of course to Aimee and Ross and all their family and friends for being so welcoming – thank you! Here are a few of my favourites from their special day…
