Being chosen to be someone’s Contemporary Wedding Photographer is always an honour and none more so than when I met Gemma and Adam at Chewton Glen in the New Forest, they welcomed me with open arms and every time I met with them before their big day it felt like I’d known them for ever. As their big day dawned I realised that it wasn’t only Gemma and Adam who were generous with their friendship as all their family and friends were also incredibly kind and so much fun (despite the chronic hay fever Steve, the bride’s father, was suffering from ;)) and Rev’d Darryl was one of the funniest and most laid back ministers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, a perfect fit to marry Gemma & Adam!
Gemma and Adam were married on Saturday at Christchurch Priory with a huge crowd coming out to welcome them as Mr and Mrs Bennett (absolutely nothing to do with the Christchurch food and wine festival – oh no!) and afterwards they entertained, in fantastic style, their friends and family at Chewton Glen, one of the most beautiful venues in the New Forest. The sun was shining and if ever there was a perfect day on which to get married, Saturday was it!
So before the hay fever catches up with me too, I would just like to wish Gemma & Adam lots of love and a long and happy marriage together and share with you a few of my favourite photos from the day before their gallery is uploaded for friends and family on the 6th June. I look forward to reading your comments!!
