Vicki & Steve are 2 really outdoorsy people so you can imagine my delight when they chose me to be their Contemporary Wedding Photographer for their Wedding Day at Monkey Island, a stunning venue in the middle of the River Thames!
I think we will all agree that the weather recently has been rather rubbish and whilst Vicki and Steve love being by the water, being under water wasn’t in the game plan. We all had our fingers crossed for a break in the weather so they could get married outside, and amazingly that’s what we got, someone important was listening to those prayers!
Monkey Island is a gorgeous setting, a private venue open only to wedding guests for the occasion and set right in the middle of the Thames river at Bray in Berkshire, it boasts it’s very own peacocks (that we all kept running away from!), a flock of canada geese and lots and lots of amazing locations for photos and in between showers we managed to put the location to great use for Vicki & Steve’s contemporary bride and groom portraits.
Their ceremony was gorgeous, their friends and family welcoming and we had an absolutely fantastic day celebrating Vicki & Steve’s Wedding, a HUGE congratulations from me and until we get together in 2 weeks to show you all your images here are a few of my favourites…
