This is the second time I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Chloe and what a joy she is, an absolutely cutie and all dressed up and ready for her First Birthday Photography Shoot and cake smash!

Mum Ta and Dad Toby wanted to join in with Chloe’s First Birthday Photography Shoot fun too although I noticed they took a small step backwards when we unveiled Chloe’s birthday cake, a gorgeous yellow iced gooey sponge made by the fabulous ladies from Clever Cow Cakes.

I prefer to do the First Birthday Photography Shoot and CAKE SMASH in The Studio in Romsey where I have an easily wipe clean floor and huge white backdrop that can get as messy as they like so mum and dad don’t have to worry! With a bathroom next door so baby can be washed free from all the sticky cake it’s an easy and relaxed set up and fabulous fun for little people!

The first time I met Sophie & Max it was clear they are a VERY fun couple! They love to laugh, are spontaneous and live life to the full – I was so excited when they chose me to be their wedding photographer at Hyde Barn in Stow on the Wold, a day filled with simple, natural details with the emphasis on fun (& fiddles!)

So when the day of their Pre Wedding Photography fun shoot arrived, I couldn’t wait to meet up with them despite their rather dubious choice of location (long story, it all turned out fine in the end!!) Max immediately settled into the shoot clarifying his knowledge that he is indeed AMAZING! and Sophie soon followed! We wandered over the cliff top down around Lee on Solent jumping around very muddy puddles (those images are staying firmly in the camera!) and taking advantage of the glorious sunshine for their Pre Wedding Photography fun shoot. It’s great to see people who start a shoot rather nervously, blossom (ahem sorry, spring pun!) throughout the shoot and to receive an email from them saying “We both just wanted to say thank you so much for the other day! We had such an awesome time and it’s really got us excited about the photos at the wedding and everything. So glad that you are going to be our photographer!” I just know that we are going to have even more fun on their big day in June.

Wow what a day! A gorgeous, sunny Spring Blossom Pre Wedding Photography Shoot with Pearl & Tony on Sunday and despite the nerves I think we got some fantastic results. Nerves are the main reason I include a Pre Wedding Photography Shoot within all my packages as it gives you a great opportunity to work with me before the big day and without any pressure. We play around with different styles and poses and see what it is that works best for you.

This Spring Blossom Pre Wedding Photography Shoot with Pearl & Tony was no different – Tony is a natural catalog model which in itself puts a little more pressure onto Pearl but after a short time we all got into the groove and took advantage of the stunning locations around Chichester and of course the Spring Blossom. I really wanted to capture Pearl’s lovely sunny attitude, she’s a gentle lady and I absolutely adore the way she looks at Tony – fabulous! What do you think? Like I said on my Facebook Page yesterday, I couldn’t believe my eyes when it started to snow yesterday, Natalie & Adam had arranged their Pre Wedding Photography at Rhinefield House Hotel after not being able to shoot back in February when it had really snowed – how uncanny! This was one couple that were going to have fun regardless of the weather and fun we had!

Even if you love the camera, it can be a little daunting to be so intimate with your beloved infront of a photographer but Natalie and Adam very quickly settled into the shoot! We had howling winds, snow, sun and just about everything in between but nothing was going to dampen their pre Wedding Photography at Rhinefield House Hotel.

I really can’t wait for their big day at Parley Manor this summer, not just because these two are so much fun and so warm and friendly but also because the fabulous Matthew from Teardrop films will be videoing and I love working with Matthew! Can’t wait to see which marryoke song you choose guys!

On Good Friday I was lucky enough to be photographing Jo & Matthew’s Wedding Photography at Old Thorns, one of my favourite venues near Petersfield. After all the freezing cold weather I was really excited to see some patches of blue sky even though it was rather chilly!

Meeting at school, Jo and Matthew decided to bring a touch of their school memories to their wedding theme with their table plan on a blackboard and their orders of service drawn out like a timetable – coupled with gorgeous spring blooms Old Thorns looked fantastic!

Both a touch nervous, we all enjoyed their lovely ceremony and joined their celebrations afterwards with the sun peeping through as we headed out for some photos. Whilst the kids had their Easter Egg hunt, a lovely crisp day made Jo & Matthew’s Wedding Photography at Old Thorns fabulous and I was really excited to be able to deliver one of my favourite shots with them photographed against the lovely spring sky.

I’ve been looking forward to Katie & Gareth’s Wedding Photography at Tithe Barn for what seems like years since I first met them! Both Professional Wedding Photographers in their own right, they had some fantastic ideas about their photography and after a themed pre wedding photography shoot with them both in Winchester, their special day promised to be a fantastic one regardless of the snow and heavy rain that was forecast!

Katie handcrafted many of the finishing touches for their big day including her bouquet and shoes and the day was going to be full of details photography at Tithe Barn, a gorgeous venue near Petersfield. Candy Bars, Ice-cream Bikes, Caricaturists, Magicians were all there to entertain Katie & Gareth’s guests through the day.

All of Katie & Gareth’s family and friends were really welcoming and lots of fun and nothing was going to dampen their spirits on this special day! They even braved the icy cold wind and let me take them outside for the group shots, what a cracking bunch! The day whizzed by so quickly but not a moment was damped by the unseasonal weather – a great day for all and a great big thanks to Katie & Gareth from me for choosing me to do their Wedding Photography at Tithe Barn – love you!!
